The groundbreaking ceremony for the global headquarters of Quectel Wireless Solutions, “Seizing Opportunities, Driving Innovation”, was grandly held in Shanghai, projecting to an iconic landmark in Jiading District by 2025.

On the morning of May 6th, the cornerstone laying ceremony for Quectel’s global headquarters was held in Songjiang District, Shanghai. With the official launch of the new headquarters construction, Quectel’s enterprise development enters a new chapter.

During the groundbreaking ceremony, Quan Penghe, Chairman and CEO of Quectel, explained why they chose Songjiang in Shanghai as the location for the new “Quectel Root”. Founded in 2010 with Shanghai as its foundation, Quectel has become a leading global supplier of IoT solutions over the past 13 years. In order to meet the needs of the new development stage, the company selected Songjiang as its new headquarters location. The construction of the new headquarters will be a significant milestone in Quectel’s development, as it will not only create a new type of intelligent headquarters base, but also become a new landmark in Sijing Town.

The global headquarters project of Quectel will strive to complete construction within two years and is expected to be formally put into use in 2025. The park will integrate various functions, including standardized office and research and development facilities, food and beverage services, activity and sports center, multifunctional conference rooms, outdoor gardens, and parking lots. At that time, a “diverse, flexible, shared, green, and efficient” modern office environment will become a solid guarantee for Quectel’s further success.
