What should I do if the router accidentally pressed reset?

The reset button on the router is used to reset the router. When you press and hold the reset button for a few seconds, your router will be restored to its factory settings, and all configuration parameters on the router will be deleted, so you cannot connect to the Internet.

The solution is also very simple. Use a computer or mobile phone to log in to the router's management page, and then reset your router to access the Internet. After completing the settings, you can use it.

Considering that some users may not have a computer, the following will introduce in detail how to reset the router to access the Internet using a mobile phone after long pressing the reset button to reset the router. Please follow the steps below.

step:

1. Check whether the network cable on your router is connected correctly, and make sure that the network cable on it is connected in the following way.

(1) Connect the network cable from the optical modem to the WAN port on the router. If your home broadband does not use a light cat, then you need to connect the broadband network cable/wall network port of the home to the WAN port on the router.

(2) If you have a computer to access the Internet, connect your computer to any LAN port on the router with a network cable. If you don't have a computer, just ignore this.

2. On the label at the bottom of the router, check the router's login address/management address, the default WiFi name

Notice:

The default WiFi name of the router may not be displayed on the label of some routers. In this case, the default WiFi name of the router is usually the router brand name + the last 6/4 digits of the MAC address.

3. Connect your mobile phone to the router's default WiFi, after which the mobile phone can set up your router.

Notice:

When using a mobile phone to set up the router to access the Internet, the mobile phone does not need to be in the Internet state; as long as the mobile phone is connected to the WiFi of the router, the mobile phone can set the router. Novice users, please keep this in mind, and don't think that if you can't access the Internet on your phone, you can't set up a router.

4. For most wireless routers, when the mobile phone is connected to its default WiFi, the setting wizard page will automatically appear in the browser of the mobile phone, and follow the prompts on the page.

Notice:

If the setting page of the router does not automatically pop up in the browser of the mobile phone, you need to enter the login address/administration address viewed in step 2 in the browser of the mobile phone, and you can manually open the setting page of the router.
